💐 Alma Makes – Terms & Conditions
By placing an order or booking with Alma Makes Limited, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please review carefully before finalising your purchase. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
📌 Booking Deposit & Flower Reservation (Preservation Orders)
A £50 Booking Deposit secures your place in our preservation calendar and initiates the drying process.

This deposit is non-refundable.

If you cancel before resin pouring begins, the £50 will be retained as a drying fee.

Once resin pouring has begun, no refunds will be issued.

If you choose not to proceed, return shipping for your flowers will be at your expense.
🌼 Nature of Flowers
Flowers are naturally delicate and beautifully unique. During the drying process, changes in size, shape, and colour are expected.
Some flowers may fade, darken, or alter in tone. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations as part of the preservation process.
🎨 Design & Artistic Discretion
After drying, you will be notified that your piece is ready for the design stage. Design options will be shared for approval where appropriate.
While we consider your preferences carefully, final artistic decisions remain with Alma Makes Limited to ensure the best aesthetic outcome and structural integrity of the piece.
We may not provide previews for smaller items to avoid excessive handling.
We reserve the right to use flowers best suited to the chosen format. Larger blooms may not be used in smaller items such as coasters.
🌸 Colour Correction
Alma Makes does not offer colour correction services (including repainting or airbrushing).
Certain flowers (including chrysanthemums, orchids, lilies, tulips and daisies) may not preserve well. We will use the best available blooms for your piece.
🌷 Florist-Treated Flowers
Alma Makes is not responsible for issues caused by florist-treated, dyed, or chemically sprayed flowers.
If damage occurs during shipping and our packing instructions were followed, a bouquet reconstruction service may be available at an additional cost.
📦 Shipping Compliance
You will receive detailed packing instructions prior to your event.
If instructions are not followed, we reserve the right to return your flowers and issue a refund minus shipping costs.
Alma Makes is not responsible for postal delays once items are dispatched.
🖐 Handmade Nature
All resin items are handcrafted. Small bubbles, textures, or slight colour variations are normal and form part of the character of resin art.
⏳ Turnaround Time & Updates
Turnaround time is approximately 4–8 months depending on complexity.
Progress updates may be requested after 12 weeks.

🛍️ Returns & Refunds (Preservation)
Custom preservation orders are non-refundable.
If your item arrives damaged, please notify us within 14 days of receipt and we will work to resolve the issue.
Ready-made items may be returned within 7 business days in original condition. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
💡 Resin Care
Keep resin items out of direct sunlight.
Avoid harsh chemicals.
Minor ambering (yellowing) over time is a natural part of resin aging.
❌ Cancellations (Preservation)
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours, subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
Once resin pouring has begun, cancellations are no longer permitted.
✨ WORKSHOP & GIFT CARD TERMS
📅 Workshop Bookings
Workshop spaces are confirmed upon full payment.
All materials are included. Workshops typically last approximately 2 hours.
Participants create and take home their finished jewellery piece on the day.
🔄 Workshop Cancellations & Transfers

Cancellations made 14 days or more before the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made 7–13 days before the workshop may be transferred to a future date (subject to availability).

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds are issued for non-attendance.
Bookings may be transferred to another person with written notice prior to the workshop.
⚠ Workshop Changes by Alma Makes
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (including illness, venue issues, or insufficient bookings).
In such cases, you will be offered:

A full refund, or
-
A transfer to a future workshop date.
Liability is limited to the value of the workshop booking only.
🧴 Health & Safety (Workshops)
Resin materials will be used during workshops. Safety guidance and protective measures will be provided.
Participants attend at their own risk.
Alma Makes Limited is not liable for:

Allergic reactions not disclosed in advance

Damage to personal belongings

Failure to follow safety instructions
Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities before attending.
🎁 Gift Cards
Workshop gift cards:

Are valid for 12 months from purchase date

Are non-refundable

Cannot be exchanged for cash

Must be redeemed in advance via booking
If workshop prices increase, the recipient may be required to pay the difference.
Expired or lost gift cards cannot be replaced or extended.
📸 Photography
We may take photographs during workshops for marketing purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs, please inform us on the day.
💳 Currency & Payment
All prices are listed in British Pounds (£ GBP). International payment or conversion fees may apply.
